Chromatography / Biotech
Chromatography systems separate complex mixtures by facilitating interaction between a mobile phase and a stationary phase. As the constituent parts interact differently with these phases, they migrate at varying speeds, allowing for precise separation.
Whether utilizing batch or multi-column configurations, chromatography is essential across the spectrum—from lab-scale apparatus to large-scale production in pharmaceuticals, food additives, fine chemicals, and biopolymers. The core of these systems is a sintered laminate featuring highly precise pore structures. To ensure reliable results, these materials must meet rigorous standards for filtration fineness, flow rates, and pressure drop. Furthermore, high-performance sinter meshes are critical in preventing the costly loss of expensive chromatography media (resins/gels).
Our Solutions We provide filter discs ranging from 25 mm to 2000 mm in diameter, with pore sizes from 1 to 40 microns. Depending on your specific requirements, we manufacture 5-, 7-, or 10-layer discs using AISI 316L, AISI 904L, or Hastelloy C-22. Our laminates can be supplied fully integrated with welded rings, pickled, and passivated.
