The sun catcher concentrates solar energy onto a Stirling engine, heating the gaseous working fluid within a closed-cycle system. This creates a temperature differential between the cylinders, driving the expansion and compression of the gas. The interconnected regenerator acts as a thermal store—the critical component upon which the system’s overall efficiency depends.

We manufacture specialized wire meshes for these regenerators, fabricating them into sintered bundles composed of several hundred individual mesh discs. These high-performance components minimize the heat required to perform mechanical work, leading to significantly higher efficiency levels.
